Cam Davis emerged victorious at the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club, securing his second PGA Tour win with a final score of -18. Davis clinched the title after Akshay Bhatia missed a crucial 4-foot par putt on the final hole, finishing tied for second at -17 alongside Min Woo Lee, Davis Thompson, and Aaron Rai. Min Woo Lee, who had tied the lead with three birdies in his last four holes, ultimately fell short with a bogey on the final hole. Cameron Young, who was also in contention, broke his driver on the 14th hole and finished tied for sixth. Bhatia had a +1 back nine. Davis earned a payout of $1.65 million from the overall purse of $9.2 million. The victory also earned him invites to the Masters, the PGA, and THE PLAYERS Championship, as well as exemption into next seasonβs Signature Events. It was an emotional win for Davis.
