The Miami Hurricanes have bolstered their 2025 recruiting class with the addition of four-star cornerback Chris Ewald Jr. from South Florida's Chaminade-Madonna and three-star defensive lineman Herbert Scroggins from Benedictine Military School. Ewald, a former Michigan commit, chose Miami over Georgia. The Hurricanes' recruiting efforts have propelled their class to 15th in the 247Sports team rankings, with eight of the 14 commits being 247Sports Composite blue-chippers. Scroggins is the first defensive lineman in the class. Miami's 2025 class has seen significant improvement, with more pledges expected.
