Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland, who has been sidelined since he sprained both his MCLs on Black Friday, did more in practice recently than he has since the injury. His return would be a considerable boost for the Dolphins' defense in their next game against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Head coach Mike McDaniel is optimistic about Holland's game status for Sunday, provided there are no setbacks, describing Holland's approach as 'all gas and no breaks.' Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is also on the mend from a thumb injury that occurred when it hit a helmet in the first quarter against the Cowboys, in addition to a quad injury that is showing improvement.
Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel is “optimistic” about S Jevon Holland (knees) playing against the Ravens after missing the last four games. “The biggest thing is not having setbacks today,” McDaniel said.

“I’m optimistic about Jevon. The biggest thing is him not having any setbacks today. We’ll see how his body handles that….The deliberate nature of him, you really have to be careful to not get a setback. He’s all gas and no breaks,” McDaniel on Jevon Holland’s game status.
