Solayer Launches Emerald Visa Debit Card for 40,000 Users in 100+ Countries with Apple and Google Pay Integration

Solayer, a crypto infrastructure firm building on Solana, has launched the Emerald Card, a non-custodial Visa debit card for crypto users. The card is available in over 100 countries, including the US, and integrates with Apple Pay and Google Pay for spending. The Emerald Card allows users to spend cryptocurrencies directly without converting to fiat, using Solayer's InfiniSVM infrastructure. Users can top up the card with USDC and interact through wallets like Phantom. The card leverages SolanaID for cross-chain identity, enabling users to link multiple wallets and build an onchain reputation platform. A rewards program is included, offering cardholders opportunities to earn crypto, participate in airdrops, and access DeFi yield accounts and merchandise from partner projects. The card is initially available to 40,000 users through a community sale, with broader registration planned. Solayer's ecosystem features hardware-accelerated blockchain technology with a record transaction per second (TPS) achieved, a functional explorer, RPC, and faucet live. The Emerald Card, part of Solayer's PayFi product line, will compete with other crypto debit cards such as SolCard and Gnosis Pay.
