A pre-dawn Russian drone attack on 14 June ignited a major fire at a humanitarian-aid warehouse in the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, destroying more than 100 tons of food, water and shelter supplies intended for displaced civilians and frontline communities. Local aid organiser Oleksandr Beliuha said five recently delivered truckloads of relief goods “all burned down,” leaving the facility a complete loss. Regional authorities put the material damage at roughly US$3 million and reported at least three people injured. World Central Kitchen, which used the site to stage meal deliveries, confirmed its staff were unharmed but said tents, generators and other equipment were ruined. The charity pledged to rebuild the warehouse and resume operations despite the attack.
