Houston Texans safety Jimmie Ward was arrested at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday at his home in Magnolia, Texas, and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a felony assault family violence charge, the Houston Chronicle reported. Local media outlets said the complaint accuses Ward of strangling his fiancée during the incident. He was released later in the day after posting a $30,000 bond, according to Around The NFL. The Texans confirmed they are aware of the arrest and are gathering information. Ward, a first-round draft pick in 2014, has started 20 games for Houston over the past two seasons.
