A recent INSCOP survey reveals a shifting political landscape in Romania, with Ilie Bolojan and Nicușor Dan leading the trust rankings among politicians. They are followed by George Simion and Kelemen Hunor. The survey indicates that Bolojan's popularity extends even within the Social Democratic Party (PSD) electorate, surpassing figures like Grindeanu. According to the poll, the National Liberal Party (PNL), driven by Bolojan's influence, has caught up with and possibly overtaken PSD in voter support. Notably, the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) is gaining momentum and is now the leading party in parliamentary voting intentions, with 32.2% support, ahead of PSD at 14.7% and PNL at 13.5%. The data suggest that if parliamentary elections were held now, AUR would secure more votes than PSD and PNL combined, also drawing support from smaller parties such as the People's Movement Party (POT) and Save Romania Union (SOS). This marks a considerable realignment in Romanian politics following the recent presidential elections.
