Real Madrid initially sold Paz for €6 million, retaining buy-back options for the next three years, with fees increasing to €8 million in 2025, €9 million in 2026, and €10 million in 2027. Despite interest from other clubs, including Inter Milan and Fiorentina, Como's upfront payment offer has positioned them favorably in the negotiations. However, Real Madrid has expressed no intention of removing the buy-back clauses, with club officials suggesting that bringing Paz back to Madrid might be premature given the current squad dynamics.
