Ahead of the upcoming G7 Summit, the Chinese Foreign Ministry, represented by spokesperson Lin Jian, criticized the group for maintaining a Cold War mentality and ideological bias. Lin accused the G7 of forming exclusive "small circles" that provoke conflict and confrontation among camps. The ministry urged the G7 to stop interfering in other countries' internal affairs, cease undermining the development of other nations, and refrain from manipulating China-related issues. Instead, China called on the G7 to promote unity and international cooperation.
