The Golden State Warriors have completed a sign-and-trade deal sending Klay Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks, source tells ESPN. In return, the Warriors will receive two second-round picks from the Mavericks. The picks include a 2031 Dallas second-round pick and the least favorable 2025 second-round pick between the Denver Nuggets and the Philadelphia 76ers. This transaction will also create a trade exception just shy of $16 million for the Warriors, which they can use for future moves.
