The U.S. national debt has been rapidly increasing, reaching nearly $34.4 trillion, with significant growth occurring in recent months. It took the United States 232 years to accumulate its first $10 trillion in debt, 9 years for the second $10 trillion, and only 5 years for the third. The jump from $33 to $34 trillion took just three months, from September to December of 2023. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. highlighted the severity of the situation, noting that the debt had grown by $1 trillion in the last 100 days and called the trend unsustainable. Senator Rick Scott pointed out that the debt has grown by more than $3 trillion since January 2023, attributing the increase to what he described as Democrats' reckless spending. Reports indicate that the national debt is now increasing by approximately $1 trillion every 100 days, with the debt recently surpassing $34.5 trillion.
The #NationalDebt just surpassed $34.5 trillion, up over $100 billion so far in March. At this rate the National Debt will rise $300 billion during the month. That's a annual pace of $3.6 trillion. Rising deficits will likely push the National Debt over $40 trillion by next year!

We're trillions of dollars in debt. President Trump is trying to do two things -- help our friends overseas but keep Americans in mind by asking these countries to pay us back if they can. No one wants to help Ukraine more than I do, but we must think about America first. https://t.co/jkwcnrvQGG
