Additionally, in Sweden, Tesla's new car registrations rose by 9% in December, and its market share increased to 6.1% from 4.6%. Globally, Tesla was overtaken as the leader in EV production. In Norway, Tesla's market share rose to 20.0% from 12.2% as almost five out of six new cars sold were powered by battery only.
