An engineering and manufacturing company has accused U.S. law firm Clark Hill and one of its lawyers of recklessly transferring $1.1 million to scammers who intercepted settlement funds through hacked email accounts. Sinacom North America has filed a lawsuit in Pennsylvania state court against Clark Hill and lawyer Steven Richman for allegedly falling victim to an obvious scam and sending the money to the wrong bank account.
