Scottish Rugby has announced a new financial reset program aimed at addressing significant financial losses. The Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) is looking to address major financial losses following £20 million in losses. Despite the financial challenges, the ability to invest in rugby, including the pro teams, has been maintained for the financial year 2024/25. Player recruitment for both Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors remains unaffected for the forthcoming season. The SRU has also announced job cuts as part of its strategy to manage a deficit of around £10 million. Much work has been done to develop a strategy for the next 10 years, which will transform the way the organization works.
