Ryanair has announced a reduction in its traffic forecast for the financial year starting April, now expecting to carry between 198 million to 200 million passengers, down from the previously forecasted 205 million. This adjustment comes as the airline is forced to cut its summer schedule due to delays in the delivery of Boeing Max jets. The delays have been attributed to Boeing informing suppliers of a postponement in the planned increase in 737 production. Originally, production was set to increase to 42 units per month by June, with a further increase to 47 units per month by January 2025. Ryanair expressed 'Very disappointed' over the need to cancel summer flights and reduce flight frequencies across its network.
