A Reuters poll indicates that 87 out of 100 economists believe the US Federal Reserve is done raising rates for this cycle, with 86 out of 100 economists expecting the Fed to wait until at least Q2 2024 before cutting rates. The poll also suggests that there is a risk of the expected Q2 rate cut being delayed. Additionally, the poll shows that US short-term interest rate futures traders have pushed out bets on the first Fed rate cut to June from May.
