Police are investigating the deaths of two Boeing whistleblowers who died under suspicious circumstances within a month of each other. The first, Dean, 45, a former Boeing quality control manager, had publicly raised concerns about serious safety issues in the company's commercial airplanes. His death, resulting from a gunshot wound, occurred while he was in the process of giving depositions. The law firm representing him in South Carolina also represented another Boeing whistleblower, John Barnett, suggesting a possible connection between the cases.
