New Zealand's electronic retail card spending experienced a significant decline in May 2024. The month-on-month (MoM) spending dropped by 1.1%, compared to a previous decline of 0.4%. Year-on-year (YoY) spending also fell by 1.6%, improving from a previous decrease of 3.8%. Total card spending in New Zealand saw a 0.9% MoM reduction in May 2024, reversing from a previous increase of 0.9%.
