Meta has announced that its Threads app, trading under $META, is now more deeply integrated with the fediverse, a global network of interconnected social media servers. This integration allows Threads users to like and see replies to their posts on federated social networks such as Mastodon. The feature is now available to users in over 100 countries. Additionally, Meta has opened up its beta for sharing to the fediverse to Threads users who are 18 and older and have public accounts in global markets.
