Inflation rates in Germany, Norway, and Hungary showed signs of easing in January 2024. Germany's Federal Statistics Office confirmed inflation at 3.1%, the lowest since June 2021, and a decrease from the previous 3.8%. Norwegian inflation also declined slightly to 4.7%, just above the forecast of 4.6% and down from the previous 4.8%, marking the weakest pace in more than a year. Hungary's headline inflation slowed more than expected to 3.8% year-on-year.
