This comes alongside the latest survey results showing a slight increase in inflation expectations among euro zone consumers for the year ahead, with the 1 Year Consumer Price Index (CPI) expectations for January reported at 3.3%, up from the previous 3.2%. The 3 Year CPI expectations for January remain steady at 2.5%, consistent with the previous estimate and expectations. ECB's Centeno also mentioned that inflation might temporarily fall below 2% this year.
