Baldoni's countersuit references text messages involving Lively, Swift, and Reynolds, including Lively's description of Swift and Reynolds as her 'dragons,' and alleges Lively used her celebrity connections for creative influence on the film.
Both sides have requested access to each other's financial records as part of the discovery process. The trial is scheduled to begin on March 9, 2026, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
