Several states in the United States have passed bipartisan laws requiring age verification for access to pornographic websites. Idaho is the latest state to implement such a law, joining Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Utah, and Virginia, where Pornhub has already ceased operations. Texas has also proposed House Bill 1181, seeking a permanent injunction against non-compliant websites and imposing hefty fines for violations.
