Seven Indicted in Maryland Armed Robbery Spree Targeting Bank Customers Across Five Counties, AG Anthony Brown Says

Seven individuals have been indicted in connection with a series of armed robberies targeting bank customers across multiple counties in Maryland. The spree involved targeting customers making large withdrawals and spanned five Maryland counties. Attorney General Anthony Brown announced the indictments on May 9, 2025. Among those charged is 22-year-old Clarence Antonio Lynch of Prince George’s County, who pleaded guilty to a violent armed robbery of a convenience store in Laurel and was also involved in breaking into an ATM using hydraulic tools. The investigation was conducted by the FBI Baltimore and Prince George's County Police Department.
