Las Vegas Sphere's CFO Quits as Venue Reports $98.4 Million Loss in First Quarter

The Las Vegas Sphere, a new venue, reported a loss of $98.4 million in its first quarter of operations. The revenue generated during this period was $7.8 million, with $4.1 million coming from event-related revenues and $2.6 million from advertising on the outside of the venue. The Sphere opened in late September. The CFO of the company also resigned.
