Multiple incidents of violent attacks involving knives have occurred on public transportation in New York and San Francisco. In New York, a passenger was slashed in the face on a Long Island Railroad train, while in San Francisco, a BART passenger was stabbed in the leg with a box cutter. The attacks have raised concerns about safety on public transit systems.
And this doesn't include 2 that were reported yesterday... one at 16th and Mission in the early evening (unknown disposition) and then one on a BART train near Embarcadero that was a confirmed stab wound to the leg (see my post from last night for more details). https://t.co/2nvWrovJwE
