Representatives for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom confirmed in a joint statement on 3–4 July 2025 that the pop star and the British actor have ended their nine-year relationship and called off their six-year engagement.
The statement said the pair "have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting" their four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. It added that they will "continue to be seen together as a family," emphasising their shared commitment to raising their child with love, stability and mutual respect.
Confirmation of the break-up follows weeks of media speculation after outlets including TMZ and People reported on 26 June that the couple had quietly separated. Bloom, 48, attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice without Perry, while the 40-year-old singer continued her Lifetimes world tour in Australia.
Perry and Bloom began dating in 2016, split briefly in 2017, and became engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019, but never set a wedding date. Perry was previously married to comedian Russell Brand, and Bloom shares a teenage son, Flynn, with former spouse Miranda Kerr.
