Over the weekend, several incidents involving illegal automotive activities were reported in California. CCTV footage captured drivers engaging in dangerous maneuvers around a ring of fire at an unsanctioned car meet. In response to such activities, the Oakland Police Department (OPD) announced that they would deploy additional resources to crack down on illegal sideshows. The OPD warned that participants' vehicles could be towed and held for 30 days. During one of these events in Los Angeles, a Corvette was set ablaze amidst an illegal street race. Similarly, in Vallejo, a large crowd and numerous cars convened for an illegal sideshow on Saturday night.
