Terri McIntyre, a former executive director of the Los Angeles chapter of the Recording Academy, has filed a lawsuit accusing the former president, Michael Greene, of drugging and sexually abusing her nearly 30 years ago. The lawsuit also alleges that Greene made sex a condition of her employment. The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, where Greene was the CEO and president, has been named as a defendant in the lawsuit. The lawsuit claims that the culture at the organization permitted Greene and others to abuse, exploit, and silence victims for years. Greene has not yet responded to the allegations.
In her suit, which also names the Recording Academy as a defendant, Terri McIntyre says that from 1994 to 1996, Michael Greene caught her in a “trap” in which he regularly pressured her into sexual contact, and forced sex on her against her will. https://t.co/x6JkwGx34k
