Japanese video streaming site Niconico, also known as NicoNico Douga, was hit by a cyberattack, leading to service suspension. The attack started on June 8th and is ongoing, affecting other sites owned by Kadokawa. Dwango, the operating company, estimates over a month to fully restore services, currently running a limited version created hastily by engineers.
