Matthew Vaughn, director of X-Men: First Class and Kingsman, has expressed his belief that the Star Wars franchise should be rebooted, focusing solely on the Skywalker family. He argues that the characters are not so sacred that they cannot be redone for a new audience. Vaughn has also revealed that he pitched a Superman film trilogy to Warner Bros. before Man of Steel, but they were not interested. Additionally, he has been approached to direct a future DC Universe movie. Vaughn suggests that Marvel Studios should make fewer films and concentrate on making them great.
