Ninety Eight, a Vietnamese Web3 coalition, has launched a $25 million ecosystem fund to support Web3 startups in Asia. The fund will provide financial and strategic support to selected startups, working closely with them to offer guidance and access to extensive resources. Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings is also starting a new fund to invest in Web3, AI, metaverse, and other startup companies. The total fund is expected to reach $663 million, with half of the limited partners coming from other traditional consortiums in Japan. Additionally, SBI Holdings and Standard Chartered are planning to deploy over $100 million in capital to Web3 startups. SC Ventures and SBI Holding have set up a $100 million digital asset investment fund. SBI Holdings is also planning to establish a ¥100 billion ($660 million) fund to support startups in web3, AI, and metaverse sectors. Furthermore, Polygon Village has launched a $90 million fund for ecosystem development, and 0xPolygonLabs has introduced a new grant program worth $85 million to entice developers to build applications in its ecosystem.
