Michael Saylor's investment firm, Strategy, has continued its aggressive accumulation of Bitcoin in 2025. On June 15, 2025, Strategy acquired 10,100 BTC for approximately $1.05 billion at an average price of $104,080 per Bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to 592,100 BTC valued at around $41.84 billion, with an average cost basis of $70,666 per coin. The firm achieved a Bitcoin yield of 19.1% year-to-date in 2025. Subsequently, between June 16 and June 22, Strategy purchased an additional 245 BTC for about $26 million at an average price of $105,856 per Bitcoin, increasing total holdings to 592,345 BTC valued at $41.87 billion and raising the year-to-date yield to 19.2%.
From June 23 to June 29, Strategy made a further purchase of 4,980 BTC for $531.9 million at an average price of $106,801 per Bitcoin. This latest acquisition expanded its total Bitcoin holdings to 597,325 BTC, with a total cost basis of $42.4 billion and an average purchase price of $70,982 per coin. Strategy's cumulative Bitcoin purchases since August 2020 now total nearly 600,000 BTC across 54 separate acquisitions. Michael Saylor has also expressed bullish long-term price forecasts for Bitcoin, predicting it could reach $21 million per coin by 2046 and suggesting that if Wall Street allocates 10% of its portfolios to Bitcoin, the price could surge to $1 million per coin. He has reiterated plans to continue buying billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin, aiming to push Strategy's holdings beyond 600,000 BTC.
