Bitkub Online, Thailand's largest cryptocurrency exchange, is planning to go public with an initial public offering (IPO) in 2025. The move comes as Bitkub faces increasing competition from major players such as Binance and Kasikornbank Pcl, who have been making significant inroads into the Thai crypto market over the past six months. The number of active crypto trading accounts in Thailand has seen a substantial increase, reaching 238,000 in March. The IPO is expected to value Bitkub at approximately 6 billion baht ($165 million). In preparation for the IPO, Bitkub is hiring advisers to facilitate its listing on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
