Morocco and France Launch Joint Force on Migrants as FM Nasser Bourita Visits Paris Under Enhanced Exceptional Partnership

Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita is currently on a working visit to France, where he is engaging in discussions with his French counterpart, Jean-Noël Barrot. This visit is part of the Enhanced Exceptional Partnership established by a declaration signed by King Mohammed VI of Morocco and French President Emmanuel Macron. During their meetings, Bourita and Barrot announced the creation of a joint force aimed at identifying irregular migrants, which is intended to strengthen cooperation on repatriation efforts. Additionally, Bourita has also met with Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman in Zagreb, where they reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing their partnership. The Croatian minister expressed support for Morocco's autonomy plan as a viable basis for resolving the regional dispute over Western Sahara.
