US border authorities have reported the arrest of 47 alleged members of the Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, over the past year. The gang, known for its involvement in sex trafficking and other criminal activities, has seen members arrested in cities such as New York City and Chicago, despite initially entering the US through Texas. Recently, a sex trafficking ring run by the gang was dismantled across four states, including Virginia, Louisiana, Texas, and Florida, with 30 victims identified. Deportation efforts for some of these members have been foiled. Additionally, 10 gang members were arrested in Texas over the weekend and are set to be processed for removal from the US. A charity is accused of being involved in flying the victims.
