Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Signs Death Warrant for Glen Rogers, Convicted of Killing Tina Marie Cribbs and Sandra Gallagher, Set for Fifth Execution in 2025

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a death warrant for Glen Rogers, a 62-year-old man convicted of murdering Tina Marie Cribbs 30 years ago in a Tampa motel room. Rogers, who stabbed Cribbs to death, is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection on May 15 at Florida State Prison near Starke. Rogers was also convicted of the murder of Sandra Gallagher in California in 1995, where her badly burned corpse was found in her truck. He received a death sentence there in 1999 after meeting Gallagher at a Van Nuys bar. Rogers is suspected of committing several other murders across the United States, earning him the nicknames 'Casanova Killer' and 'Cross Country Killer.' This execution will mark the fifth in Florida for the year 2025. Another execution is scheduled for May 1 for Jeffrey Hutchinson, convicted of murdering his girlfriend and her three children.
