Arrests in Ogden, Phoenix, Texas, Southold, Colombia, and Duxbury for Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

In a series of recent arrests across the United States, law enforcement agencies have apprehended multiple individuals on charges related to child sexual exploitation and abuse. In Ogden, Utah, a 20-year-old man was arrested on ten charges related to the sexual exploitation of children, following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The suspect admitted to exchanging and viewing child sex abuse materials.

In Phoenix, Arizona, Eric Chapman, a 43-year-old teacher at Cortez High School from Surprise, Arizona, was arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with at least three students. Chapman faces 18 counts of sex crimes against children, including 11 counts of sexual exploitation and 7 counts of sexual conduct with minors. The crimes reportedly occurred on campus and in his car, with over 100 files of child sexual abuse material found on his devices.

In Texas, Kara Hernandez, a 31-year-old former middle school teacher at Ronald Thornton Middle School, was arrested for an alleged sexual relationship with a student. Hernandez resigned from her position after the allegations surfaced and faces charges of indecency with a child and improper relationship between an educator and a student.

In Southold, New York, Damon Rallis, a 50-year-old former town employee and Boy Scout troop leader, was sentenced to 84 months in prison for distributing child pornography. Rallis will be required to register as a sex offender upon release.

In Colombia, Manuel Enrique Arenas, a 42-year-old man known as 'El Duende', was arrested for allegedly recording and sexually abusing hundreds of children. Over 70,000 videos of child pornography were found during the operation, leading to his arrest with assistance from Interpol.

In Duxbury, Massachusetts, Daniel Debreczeni, a 34-year-old man, was charged with possessing child pornography, involving videos of children aged 2, 3, and 8 years old. He was arrested at his workplace and faces up to 20 years in prison.

In Ogden, Utah, Jerald Leroy McAdams, a convicted sex offender who had been living in Washington State, was arrested in connection with two sexual assault and kidnapping cases from the 1990s. McAdams was extradited from Washington and faces charges in Utah.
