Since Tuesday, the United States has experienced an unprecedented level of fog over the past three days, leading to a record number of Dense Fog Advisories being issued. This widespread fog has affected 47 out of the 50 states between 08Z and 14Z, with only Rhode Island, Wyoming, and Hawaii not reporting fog conditions according to METAR observations. The dense fog has caused significant disruptions, including flight delays, vehicle accidents, and school delays.
