Potential Tropical Cyclone 22 (PTC22) is showing signs of disorganization and elongation, making it unlikely to become a tropical cyclone due to its broad structure and the terrain of the Greater Antilles. Heavy rains are expected to cause life-threatening flash flooding and mudslides across Southeastern Cuba and Hispaniola. The Dominican Republic has already experienced serious flooding, and flash flooding has occurred in Jamaica and Haiti. Despite not becoming a tropical cyclone, PTC22 has caused dangerous conditions.
