Hurricane Norma weakened slightly but remained a major storm as it took aim at the twin resorts of Los Cabos at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula in the Pacific. The storm is expected to make landfall in the state of Sinaloa, in western Mexico, after bringing torrential rain and strong winds to the southern portions of Baja California Sur. Norma will also bring much-needed rain to drought-stricken areas spanning New Mexico, West Texas, and the central Plains this week.
