Snow squalls are possible in parts of the Northern Plains, Upper Midwest, and Great Lakes. A widespread freeze is likely on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Temperatures will drop dramatically overnight, with lows in the 30s and 40s. Freeze and frost warnings have been issued for various regions. The cold air will continue through Thursday before warming up for the weekend.
