Cold Front Brings Much Colder Air and Gusty Winds, Resulting in Wind Chills in the 20s and 30s

Winds gust at times today, adding an extra chill to the air. Once the wind relaxes, temperatures early Thursday start around 20 to 26°!

WINDY WEDNESDAY... Don't be shocked when the winds pick up overnight. A new cold front is moving in and will whip the clouds away, but bring more cold air and a stiff wind. We'll gust to 25 mph throughout the day, adding to the chill.

Below freezing for most of the area tonight. Breezy conditions will create Wind Chill values in the single digits to the teens across the mountains and teens to lower 20s across the rest of the area. 🥶 Bundle up if going out later tonight and Wednesday morning. #ncwx #scwx #gawx
