Multiple reports of intense lightning activity have been observed across various locations in the United States. Cherry Grove, Tallahassee, and Southwest Florida experienced significant lightning strikes, with nearly 4,000 strikes detected in just 15 minutes off the Florida coast. Darlington Co. also saw a high number of lightning strikes. The severe weather conditions have led to concerns about large hail and damaging winds in Florida.
