24 years ago, a winter storm brought 8-14" of snow to Laurens, Union, and Rock Hill in Upstate SC, and up to two feet of snow fell across Raleigh-Durham. The storm is remembered fondly by weather enthusiasts, with some areas receiving 2-8" of snow.
