IBM and Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) are collaborating to develop a next-generation quantum computer with 10,000 quantum bits (qubits). This new quantum computer will have 75 times more qubits than the most advanced quantum computers currently available, which have 133 qubits. The project, reported by Nikkei, aims to significantly enhance the computational power and capabilities of quantum computing.
