A Yorkville man has been charged with the robbery of a 28-year-old male on a CTA train. Prosecutors allege that he robbed a man on the Red Line on February 6 while he was on probation for his fourth robbery conviction. Additionally, he was on pretrial release for two other cases, and a judge had released him from custody in one of those cases just three days before the latest incident. Chicago Police Department (CPD) reports indicate that the individual, along with an accomplice, mugged a man on the Red Line downtown on February 6.
