The third season of FX's hit series 'The Bear' has premiered, generating a mix of critical acclaim and viewer reactions. The season features notable cameos from celebrity chefs and Chicago restaurant staples like D’Amato’s, Jim’s Original, and Chiu Quon. Critics have praised the show for its character development and occasional standout moments, though some viewers found the season's pacing and artistic choices lacking. Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri return in their roles, with Edebiri also directing an episode. Despite mixed reviews, the season has maintained a high rating, being Certified Fresh at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. The show continues to explore the chaotic and empathetic world of kitchen life, with its blend of anxiety, heart, and chaos. St. Charles native Chris Witaske also discusses the show's success.

Just finished The Bear Season 3... Maybe I missed it but, did anything happen this season?
#TheBear season 3 is very annoying and not great. That’s all, thank you.
Every episode of The Bear season 3 is scripted and acted like they thought it was going to be a one-shot take and edited like a TikTok fancam
I love The Bear. Truly a pantheon show. Incredible acting, incredible writing, incredible filmmaking. It's a masterwork. That said, nearly every single food item they make looks utterly inedible and you couldn't pay me to eat that shit. Give me The Beef, man.
The third season of the Bear is like watching an actual bear in a trap gnaw its leg off, but if the real bear was taking its time and really, really proud of itself, you know?
Hard to believe @TheBearFX is this good. Literally love every character so much. Top 5 shows of all time. https://t.co/wlfS3a5lyn

I think The Bear season 3 both illustrates why the show is so amazing while also being…slightly less than amazing. It’s still fantastic & beautifully uses that malleable nature, but you really feel the pacing issue this time around. Still better than 90% of TV though. 2>1>3. https://t.co/CUAN166wWW
Season 3 of The Bear starts strong. Looking forward to watching the rest. Wish it was a weekly release so people actually talked about it
Binged season 3 of #TheBearFX. Still a great show. Loved how it keeps taking risks and breaking boundaries. However, a little bit of subtlety would make this an even better show. Right now, everything from acting to cinematography to music is just a tad over, a tad too hard.
At this point @TheBearFX has to be top 5 shows of all times? Figured they’d fumble this third season and somehow it just keeps getting better. Incredible range, layered storytelling, amazing tempo. Best show I’ve watched the past five years. https://t.co/QvqLvFsmwg
“Carmy’s out for perfection,” Jeremy Allen White describes the direction season three of #TheBearFX is going https://t.co/hXeKFX7gqD
I'm a little out of step on THE BEAR S3. Thought it was a weird move to open the season with a clip show.
The Bear S3 has so far been a load of anxiety-loaded filler episodes. Not sure if it gets better, but 5 of the 8 episodes have been fluff. Episode 1 seemed to be a fella wanking off with his camera while the writer was given a sleeping pill. Seems a waste of the acting talent.

Started watching season 3 of The Bear. I’ve rarely seen a streaming series where so much forethought was put into evolving characters along the plot arc. It’s really impressive https://t.co/zNXMzUY2A0

To get to work with a team whose performances you enjoy as a fan makes the experience even more rewarding. A huge thank you to Chris Storer and the entire cast and crew of @TheBearFX for letting me be a part of “service!” S3 is streaming on @Hulu now! @EbonMossB @mattymatheson…
I think the problem with the bear this season is I have no idea what the purpose of this season is. S1 was getting the restaurant to stay alive. S2 was making it a new restaurant. What is S3? And way too many ‘artistic’ episodes that’s a bunch of nothing
#TheBearFX is back — packed with as much anxiety, heart, and chaos as you'd expect. And some three-star cameos and extra Faks you might not. @sepinwall's review: https://t.co/q0c2AgrRnE https://t.co/mVEFZXI4LL

The Bear is too high brow for me pretty sure :-/. I’ll keep watching, but I had gotten pretty invested in the “what is going to happen next” aspect of the story, and an entire season with almost zero payoff on that front is hard for me! There was other cool stuff, but still :-/

It’s time to admit it: The Bear is not a good show. https://t.co/QKRPkdr8gw via @slate (i can agree that the show shouldn't need to create whole episodes around certain characters when a single episode should be able to flesh out multiple characters at once)
