Dona Ruth and her legal team have contested the ruling, promising to present further evidence in the ongoing custody battle. The case has drawn emotional responses from family members, including Marília Mendonça's brother, João Gustavo, who publicly defended his mother and appealed for an end to online attacks. Huff's girlfriend, Gabriela Versiani, has publicly supported him during the dispute.
