US House Schedules ‘Crypto Week’ to Advance Three Digital-Asset Bills

The US House of Representatives has designated 14–18 July as “Crypto Week,” setting aside the five-day period to vote on three pieces of landmark digital-asset legislation: the CLARITY Act, the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act and the Senate-passed GENIUS Act.

House Financial Services Chairman French Hill and Agriculture Chairman GT Thompson said the package is intended to give the United States a comprehensive regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. The CLARITY Act would establish market-structure rules for digital assets, the GENIUS Act would create federal oversight for dollar-backed stablecoins, and the Anti-CBDC measure would impose a permanent ban on issuance of a US central-bank digital currency in order to protect financial privacy.

Speaker Mike Johnson and other Republican leaders framed the votes as central to President Donald Trump’s pro-crypto agenda, noting that the bills build on earlier bipartisan committee approvals. If the measures clear the House during Crypto Week, they will move to the Senate, where supporters aim to advance standalone market-structure legislation by the end of September.
